Congratulations Gonzalo, was doing that myself back in July! Souns like your enjoyinga bit of a break which is good, I enjoyed my summer before entering the world of work!<div></div><div>I was posting a parcel to the US this morning to a member on DAC who had purchased 8 of my KLM Models...£42 they wanted to charge me, I polietly declined and it will go by FedEx on monday for £27!</div><div></div><div></div>

Andy how did you get a great rate from FedEx for international shipping. Wish they had rates like for shipping from here.

I was surprised they were the cheapest option I think its usually been DHL etc. but I'll take it, just through one of the online providers better than £42 for the Royal Mail though!

well, anything sent via royal mail over 2 kilos or 90cm total size, HAS to go by priority mail. 2-3 days, instead of 5-10 by signed for delivery. its also charged by volume too. when i sold my 1/100 spacemodel concorde royal mail wanted a whopping £102!! for 108cm box to usa. but through parcel2go.com via ebay members discount link, it was just............................£44!!! + £4.95 extra insurance over £50. model went by fedex. but you can choose others, incl. royal mail, which is CHEAPER than sending via rm yourself!! go figure!! was posted tuesday, buyer got friday!! same time as priority mail by post office. AND they collected, instead of you taking it to post office!!

To all my MAC mates here, Merry Christmas to you all. Thanks for a great year here and many more to come!!!!!!!Ive not had the best of years of late and im sure others havent either, but lets all get over it and make 2013 a great year for all!!
Its timely that we all move forward and upwards and that the new year will be better for all of us. I know im making positive inroads and hope to keep improving as each week passes, have my good and bad days, but most are good and hope all of yours are too. To all of you, may you enjoy it all and that its a happy and safe one for us all. Look forward to a better and bigger 2013 !!!!!!!!

To Mike i hope ya feelin better soon mate, my most sincere best wishes are with you mate, your one of many top guys here, and mean a lot to me and this forum. Pull through matey cozzz we need you here. Too valueable not to have you on board thats for sure, im having my ups and downs but am getting there. As my 50th approaches im uncertain as to what i will be doing, see how i feel as it gets closer, was going great up till a fortnught ago, then feeling dizzy and nasuea again of late, so hope its just temporary.
10 10 om xmas eve and no Santa in sight as yet, gess he may call past a lil later,
Best wishes to all, its been a rough year for a few of us and hope 2013 is a much beter year overall

Hope alls well out there, im prettygood had mushroom, diced bacon and a couple eggs for tea, and very nice all pan fried was pretty good I thaught
enjoying some very nice weather here, temps around 27 mark so its just right but we had a 39 already and dare say a few more to come yet
Had a nice xmas day with my neighbours, was lovely seeing most of em, a cpple live in Dydney and sould not make it unfort but most were there and was good to catch up with them
2 days to my 50th and still not sure what im gonna do, drinks at my local pub and a meal i think, bexoz i was ill for a while im still not fantastic but im a hexk of a lot better so will have a great night as best as I can
In the m,eantime i wish you and your family a happy and safe festive season and a very nice 2013. Thank you all for entertaining me during the year, Its been great!!! Thanks all

It appears 400 scale hangar is temporarily down for the moment, getting virus warning and cant access the site at the moment, Others had probs with it an now I am too.
Must be pretty severe whatever it is ????????????
