Tried to make a witty comment on the April speculation thread: gone. All i said was that i would only expect to see those that didn't get impounded by Customs & Excise for breach of licence.

I really can't understand why we still keep on visiting other forums just to cause havok and animosity towards us, what's the point? (This is'nt pointed at anyone in particular, only being 'General'), but would it not be wiser just to be a 'Lurker' and use information etc we find to our advantage. I only visit to find New Releases and hints/tips that may come in handy, and maybe read a few threads that are interesting, but posting and having abuse thrown at you is'nt what i joined Model aircraft collecting for. We have the best forum going, the best members, no politics/Religion/Race is tollerated, so why permit yourself to be like them, come on guys we are above that, sooner or later members will be flooding here because of all the atitude problems elswhere, and we want to be able to prove to new members we are above all that.

<div></div><div>Some good points Martin and well put, I'm very much the same and I do put extra effort in getting the releases up here ASAP. E.G Phoenix April releases were announced here before any other forums.</div>

Most members here are also members of other forums, and have been so for years. So it is like maintaining contact with old friends(to coin a phrase). Although you may not speak to them as often as you use to it would be disloyal not to chip in occasionally. This is when you find out how forums have changed and makes you appreciate the company here at MAC. Lurking is ok and you can pick up snippets of info but by the time you added a topic most folk have already picked up on it and will replicate their comments. Such is life and it is going to be difficult for MAC to come up with a revolutionary way of discussing the world of die cast model planes.

Most of my time on MAC and 400.
We at MAC have undoubtedly the best and friendliest forum ive ever struck, we seem to have the right chemistry flowing and I must say, from the start of SAF, and then through this forum, Ive never struck a nicer bunch of people in my life, with models and magazines sent, and so on, the family like atmosphere here and helpfulness is nothing short of outstanding.
