• Kelli Garner for me girl on the far right because she's a real redhead and the rest I can't say because I have to be a gentleman with a lady present.

Just watched episode number 10 last night and the story has the crew make the first flight into the Soviet Union for an American airliner and of course nothing goes well! Was one of the best!!

• Probably a timely reminder guys that reposting photos HERE will be encouraged as the old forum has gone, and with it a lot of photos and information!!! So please repost them, as so many who did not see the photos and such, will finally get a chance to see them!!!
Even more applicable to new comers to this forum, and to those who may be totally unfamiliar to forums in the first place!!!
Thanks to all that do repost, it is appreciated and will go a long way to helping establish this forum and some incredible shots taken in the past will HOPEFULLY reappear here soon
So dig out the archives, and lets see some really good shots become visible here!!! Not sure where to put them??? Don't be shy to ask one of the mod-admin team for helpful advice, Thanks all, look forward to seeing more photos here soon!!!</font>

I really do hope the Avalon Airshow has some great commercial planes there too.

• Jase, the Avalon airshow has always been more military. But every year has been different. When i went in 2007, there were Qantas Boeing 747 400's, B737 800's, Jetstar A320's. The Qantas A380 and V Australia B777 300 have also been displays on different years.
<DIV></DIV>When it comes to DC-3's, like Ansett, TAA, Aus National Airways, they are always there. Even the Qantas, L1049CONNIE!
<DIV></DIV>Another bonus is, Avalon is a operating airport. So every hour or so, a scheduled Tiger airways, or Jetstar will roll in. Last year, the 'Powderfinger JQ A320 rolled in! I went nuts with the photos. I have plenty of photos, which i should post.

I've been lurking and deciding whether I can handle two forums. With the weak useless dollar versus the mighty Yen, my train layout progress has slow down considerably. I can't buy materials! I have started another hobby, a photography. I came to realize how important photos were, when we took our daughter to Disneyland last October and wished I had a better camera (I had point&amp;shoot Sony HX7V). Photos were more important than my trains, so I took out a loan and got me my very first DSLR. I'm looking into obtaining Photoshop CS5 and fast lens later.

................I gotta change my avatar ASAP.
