Hi all from a rather warm Adelaide, 11 15 am and 34c already!!!, top of 36, me thinks 38 is likely as im feeling the heat building up already in my PC model room, so a lovely day ahead. Looks like another cold tea tonight, or pehaps grilled marinated chops with a cold pasta salad is the go, never made a pasta salad before so here goes!!!
Need Jamie Olivers help with this one, or perhaps Hueys kitchen can help?????

Geee Steve, looks like its another scorcher. We have a top of 33 today, but i have a feeling it will get higher. I wouldnt go firing up the BBQ on a total fire ban day lol.

Hey guys, how it going? Had an awesome first phone convo Steve. Just finished mowing the lawns and having a cold one... Coronas sure go down well after mowing the lawns.

Sunny with a bit of cloud here in NZ... over all had a great weekend apart from a mishap with one the concep AIA models... explain later but with a bit recycling actually turns out good on my 1:200 project.. pics coming.

Great chat to Jase and Pam, really a nice suprise, it was awesome to speak to a fellow collector and discuss collections and stuff. what the hobby is about really!!! Thanks Jase the call really made my day mate and I look forward to chatting again soon.
The next step will be meeting in person along with some other Aussie collectors, chattin over a few beers and a bbq, cant beat that mate I reckon!!!

Yeah mate was a great a chat only known you about 3 years so well overdue I think haha..... definitely have to plan something closer to the time the avalon airshow is on. sounds like a few members from here will going and hopefully more do to.

A few beers sound good and BBQ... no crocs for me tho mate ill do just fine with an steak sausages haha.

what no croc!!!???? gotta try my marinated in garlic-soy croc legs, done in the croc pot of course, with kangaroo fillet sausages, you will be amazed at how good it tastes. Croc steaks on barbie are good, but only as long as done medium rare, can be a bit chewy if overdone.

Well it's 5:00 pm here Sunday. Met with CYYZ Guy early this afternoon to deliver 6 models. Just about to have supper then off to work for a 3 hour meeting I have to attend. fun wow(not really).

Another warm nice day here in Adelaide, was a minimum of 28.2c over night, 1030 am and 34c plus already, 37 exp, prob will go higher than that. Had a late night chatting with Mark on Facebook, always fun to do, and relaxing also. The great sense of comradery between members here is simply fantastic, the help, advice and a million other things is what makes this forum a clear winner in my eyes at least, although many others I am sure will relate to what i'm saying too!!
Dole office appointment a bit later on, dont feel like travelling in heat but its compulsory!!!

Hi Jason. Up until age 25, I was OK ... after that, all my favourite things give me heartburn - eg. chili, pizza, chocolate, Coca Cola Classic pop, etc. So, of course at age 45, I still eat and drink the stuff. [img]smileys/smiley17.gif[/img]
