Howdy all!!! Just enjoying some really nice sunny weather here in Adelaide, about 25c at the moment and very pleasant outside.
Next few days forcast is warmer, high 20's expected, great for the Adelaide Cup public holiday which is tomorrow, that will get a huge crowd I expect!!! Will be clearing out my shed later as its rubbish pickup day tomorrow, so gotta get cracking and get it all sorted before the morning!!!

Got a new project on the go. Gone back to the begining of my model making career and decided to make a model (eye sight permitting).

Was thinking about what model would be my most treasured grail of all time
After much deliberation i came up with the answer

A Airlines of South Australia Convair 440, as I had 4 flights on them and geez just evokes some fantastic memories for me.
Id get a custom done in 200 scale, and hope one is done in 400 scale
Likelyhood nope, wishful thinking yes
Id be so happy if they did one as its a classic propliner and I reckon it would sell well in 400 scale, all Aussies would grab it for sure!!

Coming together nicely Mike, will look great in the end!! Quite a big model too, my 1/16 dozers are huge so can imagine the size of this thing!!

Howdy all, another fantastic warm 30c day, not a cloud in the sky. Its a pulic holiday nonday here, a great day for the Afelaide Cup, A major horse race, so i think it will be a great day out for those attending!!
Im just gonna have a quiet day here, start designing a diorama for my model trucks and earthmovers. Not sure what im going to do at this stage. Likely a demolition scene /building site is my leaning at the moment!!!
