Looks like its still going as smokes still eminating from the scene, just took a look from reserve next to my place and its gonna take some effort to extinguish this one. Its now over 6 hours since it started so she a big fire alright

She will be smoking for many more hours. Even after the fire is out, will take many hours to settle. Thankfully no one was killed.

When I was there it was dodgy, cheap an disgusting, someone on facebook left 2 months ago, made comments about OHS and EPA, no suprises it all went up in flames, best thing that could of happened, worst safety ive ever seen, 4 days i was outa there, forever
a time bomb they were!!!

Yeah, the OH & S rep on the site will have some explaining to do, especially if they find signs of a dirty/dodgy workplace. We actually had a factory blaze down here yesterday. Millions dollars worth of cranes were burnt in the depo. All started because the neighbouring block was an autowrecker, and all the tyres etc went up in flames, and it jumped over!

Mulhern waste oil would not know or comprehend what OHS stands for, Im glad its wiped out, best thing that could have happened to it!! quite frankly

According to the TV news chopper will continue to dump water into the night as well as fireys ground attack.
reports state the heat was extreme, hope none of the fireys get hurt at the scene

who knows member COUGAR could be there??????

Maybe! The fireys are well trained, so i am sure they will be ok. We have some of the best down here in OZ.

Gotta give em credit where credits due
I ran some termprattures
@ 1130 it was 29c
@16 17 it was 35c
currently 33c
so you can imagine the heat exaustion factor and im bettin crews are being called in on ther days off just to tackle this inferno
and relieve the crews that arrived 7 hrs ago now

Just read a fireman has been injured at the fire ground, extent of injury unknown.
Hope he will be ok, still a mess there and still dumping tons of retardant etc there. A few cars have also been damaged/destroyed as a result of the fire!!!

Not good at all, hope he is ok!! I was just stalking a Qantas B767 decending into Melb. It was old roo tail, looked dirty but still very pretty.
