well a forum is what its members make of it, its up to ALL of us to make it work and make it thrive
As a new player on the block we need to remain focussed to the direction we are headed, maintain standards, keep out the riff raff, and maintain standards so many will see the difference clearly between us and others, then word of mouth takes over and so grows a forum
Admittedly things get quiet here, but on figures we are in good shape for a forum of short existance
as word gets round we will grow, not overmight, but as nature intended, slowly and gracefully

Steve you are correct. All forums go through quiet times. Being a new young forum we have a great culture and is recognized by all members. We have quality posts rather than quantity. I read all threads and posts. Do I comment on all of them no I do not. Either because I have no knowledge on the topic or the points made need no further comment. I think you will agree we do not want comments that have no meaning at all. Just think back to some of the other forums where you will get comments , nice , I agree or any other one or two word comments. When members reply here they are meaningful. As we have always said here the mods and admin are always open to suggestions. Let's keep MAC going in the direction it is. Thanks to all members for making this a great forum.

If anything, I have noticed in some forums where they only reply with the emoticons and no words.. thats annoying and yeap one worded replies arnt the way to go. This forum sure has come its way. Over 100 members now. [img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

Hey guys,



Just thought id let you know, this could be my last post for the next
week or so. Tomorrow morning I get admitted into North Shore Hospital to
get ready for my operation on Wednesday. The past 8 months have lead me
to this point and can honestly say that its a risk worth taking. Im
having a sleeve gastrectomy performed on me which is a procedure where
they remove 80% of my stomach. Its a weight loss procedure which will
not only help with loosing the weight but mainly ease the strain on my
heart.



Im a big boy standing tall at 6ft8 use to weighing a whopping 236kg
creeping upto a quarter of a ton. But after a lot of hard work managed
to loose well over 50kg to qualify for this procedure. I cant wait to
have this part over with and just begin enjoying life and doing a lot of
traveling to hopefully one day meeting all of you. Ive already picked
my first destination - Australia and still deciding on the second...
either Hawaai or the Cook Islands.



Well sorry for the novel guys but just thought id share this with you as
I do regard you guys as fellow mates and also some of you are my
facebook friends and didn't wanna start posting pics up and freak you
guys out with my new look haha. Maybe now I can finally get those Peter
Aundre abs
