Should be a good match John, bit of friendly rivalry I can imagine between the 2 teams, still I hope its an exciting one to watch. As for the house, did it cop some hail damage? No good at all mate, hope its only a brief setback and you are almost ready to move in soon!
Australia post must be on go slow at moment, 2 cars from Germany, a B double combination with extra trailer, and a package from Backfire all due in , but nothing has arrived as yet, geezzzzzzz bloody slow I tell you!!! The package from Sal Im looking forward to the most, for some strange reason!!!
Asides that, alls pretty quiet here, a little dissapointed that all my efforts of late to encourage previous and potential new members seem to have fallen on deaf ears, in my theory, we should be up around the 45-50 members mark by now, Iv'e done my best, can't do any more than that!
Scribbled some designs for a demolition diorama, but today just wasn't inspiring, some days the creative juices flow, today was not one of them!!!Couple days time will hopefully improve my ideas a bit, so can nut out on paper what I want to show, and how i am going to show it!!!
Just an OFF day for me, but see what transpires in coming days!!!

Morning Steve, would it be possible to post some pictures of your piece of land before work starts, and then progress as the house takes shape? I for one would be interested in the house construction.

A few steps ahead of you Martin, deffo get my house and yard shots(before any work takes place at all) the back yard has become a bit overgrown, no point in maintaining it when very soon it will be a patch of dirt 16.5m by 21.3 deep. Prob get shots every couple days or so. Will be quite fun to see what once was my backyard become a two storey townhouse and someones new home!!! So deffo get a thread going on it and keep updating shots as I go.
Ultimately, my house will be knocked down, and a new one built, which will be my new home!!!
The pain will be when I have to rent for 6-8 months while my new place gets built, will be a sad day to see my home get demolished, but all for the better in the end!!!

I have allowed for one-2 guest rooms, just for visitors, double garage 6m x 8m with access to house from garage, plus 2 car parking in drive (4 car off street total) A pretty big place really, but when it gets too much, on sell potential should be much higher!!! Prob have to borrow a bout 250K, added to the money invested as build cost could be 400 or more? got some rough figures already, would have to get a boarder in for sure!
