Unfortunate mishap today, the tip of my graphite rod snapped off(user
error :P ) my second copy of the rod, the previous one snapped in the
same place on casting back in December 2010
I contacted Shimano re a replacement 2nd section(it's a 2 piece rod), yet to hear back from them
Also this is one of the greediest little buggers I've seen :P
PS having a great holiday, except for the mozzies(I'm quite allergic to them); bought some repellent today, should help keep them off.
Fun times ahead
recieved a packet of 100 people, 1/87 sc, ideal for diorama ive planned, so next few days will be painting them into various outfits
then adding them to a future diorama later, should take me to the next level, then drivers/operators will help complete the scenes I want to depict.
Being unpainted, i can do site workers in flouro vests and many other col's, so looking fwd to adding another dimension to my dioramas in the future.
cheap @ 8 $ and a few seated ones on back order,
All in all my u beaut magnifier is gonna be mighty handy over next few days!!
still no final plans, so will take it as it goes, start, then do a bit more each day, seems to work for me. more I plan, less happens, fly by seat of my pants and all comes together

I am the first to comment on bad service how ever today encountered service above and beyond. Today Jo-Anne and I went out for supper. Jo-Anne ordered the rotissrie chicken. The manager came out and said there was a problem as it wouldn't be ready for at least a half hour. so she could order anything else off the menu for the same price. Ok not a bad deal. He then came back and said that we could have a free desert. Being diabetic nothing for me. The bill came but the price had not been adjusted, our serve took it back. When she came back he had taken 50% off Jo-Anne's meal. Not a bad deal at all. This service was above and beyond.
Mark ... the server and manager tonight were excellent, as you mentioned the whole experience went above and beyond! Hopefully they will get to read my great survey comments!
Hey guys hows it going?<div>
</div><div>Just spent the last 3 days in hospital. Was only discharged today. I got a bad mozzy bite when I was over in Samoa that had developed into an infection. Went to work on Wednesday, couldnt finish my and went into shock! Rushed to hospital and admitted for 3 days. Luckily I was there in time, fevers and shakes... they say I got upto 40.5 degrees which is very high and dangerous. All is well now, infect is nearly gone and temp is now under 37. Should be fully recovered in time to go back to work next week Monday.</div>

<DIV></DIV>Hi Jo + Mark. Had a similar experience several years back when the family had a get together at a steak house. 10 of us round the table and we all ordered varoius things that duly got served up. Generally the waiter(or server as you would say) comes round after a couple of minutes to ask if everything is OK. However the guy was rushed off his feet and didn't return for about 15 mins, by which time we had eaten 3/4 of our meals. He asked if all was OK, but one of us said the vegitables were not very hot. With that we all got served with complete replacement orders. Good job none of us was on a diet.
Gee wizz, cant even make a joke of a real plane and compare it to a model without your post being "MODIFIED"
on another forum, crazy, and they wonder why activity there is low?????? ummmm let me guess
Moderation gone mad????
No humour allowed-well until Obama gets voted out
I just dunno what to say or think at the moment.
well they can play games all they like, and each day will get better for us on MAC.
