• Looks like human error was to blame for Superjet crash, early days still:

                    • A minor disaster struct the J R homestead the night before last. At 9:30 in the evening the main electric fuse tripped out the whole house ( just while I was watching CSI). After about 30 mins I established the cause, the dishwasher was to blame and it was only half way through its cycle. Bugger I thought, something to sort out the next day. Next morning kitchen floor was awash with water that had leaked from the dishwasher, so now knew why fuse had tripped. Spent most of yesterday cleaning up t he mess and organising a repair, but man with van not coming for a week. On with the rubber gloves for the next 7 days. Whoopee.

Horrible outcome of that crash. Sukhoi make some quality jets, I think the pilot was just being too much of a show-off flying that low, much like the Boeing 367 barrel roll but with a bad result.

Have you been reading the comments on that article? lol.

                        • Bad luck with dishwasher Mike, ive got fisher & Paykel, and is a beauty, its my 2nd one after the simpson i had. POS it was and leaked too badly, new one is a dream

Gonna be an interesting investigation into this accident, seems the pilots may have disabled warnings to advise of terrain, and misjudged the whole scenario around them, with fatal consequence! See what the gurus find i guess, to early to point the finger at this stage.
