Truely amazing Steve. But how many of our 105 members make regular contributions?? Sometimes I think I should buy a crash helmet as banging my head against the wall is beginning to hurt.
Agreed, but look at other forums, vs membership, vs activity, id dare say percentage wise we are doing favourably, seeing we only have 4% of the members, yet a higher participation rate some days, so figures are encouraging but a long long way to go yet
I realise we all have quiet and busy days on forums, some die in *** at certain times, then get busy again later, we are not exempt, nor is 400, DAC, 900, Buzz and so on. i monitor them all and think for a small show we doing OK, not fantastic, but ok.
Some nights we do real well {my time} and others not so great.
Nature of the beast unfort, just have to maintain a quality forum and hope word gets around that MAC is the place to be!!!!

Dear Uncle Mac, what should I do???<div>Back in November a guy asked me to customise a couple of Phoenix SA A380s by changing their reg numbers and he duely sent me the models. Work completed in early December and I advised him they were ready and advised him of the charge which included a full tracking postal service(which he wanted).</div><div>Got a reply that said he had some minor issues with Paypal and would send money shortly. Since then only one short note to say he was still having problems. I still have these models. So what should I do with them?????</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Oh, and another thing that gets my goat is is when you send a model to somebody and don't hear another word. Not even to say thanks orthey have arrived OK, despite a PM from me that asks the Q.</div>
Damn thats not good Mike, well at least I try to acknowledge receipt of items recieved, and thank the sender publicly and usually privately also, sometimes i might be a bit delayed, with all sorts of head aches going on here, but favours are not a one sided coin, when my ship comes in, Im sure to repay favours, but some take for granted the generousity of others, and spoils it for the battlers like me, who do it tough. I would not do what some do, then leave you in limbo, not fair or responsible at all!!
Give him an ultimatum, pay up or ebay models to recover your time and expenses. thats 7 months Mike, hells bells, enough is enough mate.Give him a last chance or its all over red rover

<div></div><div>He bought the models and I quoted him £25 just to do the reg changes (not a big job), BUT the postal service cost back to Singapore was another £25. His choice of service btw, complete tracking.</div>

</div><div>I know my mate had a similar problem only it was with a model train he had modified. Waited two months for payment with minimal contact and constant run around.</div><div>
</div><div>He had enough so gave him a time frame of 14 days for this client to pay followed by a final warning email after that failed he listed em on Trademe (NZs version of EBAY) AND emailed him the link/listing and give him the chance to buy it back.</div><div><div><div>

Well the sun is actually out today so Mrs J-R has given me a heavy duty list of gardening jobs. So better comply with the request from she who must be obeyed. ttfn
Quite a few good points made overnight here on MAC. Yes as far as the forum goes it would be very nice if more would participate. I also check how many members who have visited MAC and on average we have 20% of the members visit. This is actually very good. At least they are visiting.
As for the model situation you have the models. Give him another e-mail you need payment by such a date if not you will sell them.
