Wow lots of delays there Andy. Were the weather or aircraft issues? At least they sounded like they looked after you.

Well a bit of news, if my PC sh*tz itself I can get a standby for free, my real est agent upgraded some time ago so can get an older one as a stopgap measure, till i get the brand new one, the thought of library trips to use there PC was not that enticing, so at least a fill in pc is avail to me should the need arise. How old or what they are i dunno, but somethings better than nuthin.
I also hope some good news re the land sale, fingers crossed.

Hey All,<div> </div><div>Finally back from the US and will get some photos up soon for you all, not many of the airports I'm afraid as I'll explain shortly. The US itself was great and I had a fantastic time however the travel was a nightmare with a bit of an upside.</div><div> </div><div>Firstly the US Airways A330-300 N275AY from Manchester to Philidelphia was delayed by 5 hours! Spo we had to rearrange our connecting flight and get the very last short hop up to Newark on a US Airways Express (Piedmont) Dash 8-300.</div><div> </div><div>Then on the way back our connection from Newark to Philidelphia was firstly deayed then cancelled all together so then US Airways rerouted us on a Lufthansa flight from Newark to Frankfurt (747-400) and then a further connection on a BMi A320 back to Manchester, was up for nearly a day travelling both ways but all is well that ends well but all the ensuing chaos and running around didnt leave me much time for pics of the airports have got some good stuff from USS Intrepid and the Manhattan Heliports though!</div>

Operation was a great success. Got discharged yesterday and now recovering at home. Thanks everybody for all the well wishes. Got a lot of catch up reading to do.

Heres hoping for a speedy recovery mate, enjoy the break from work, and just rest up and take it easy for the next few weeks. One of the many wonders of Keyhole surgery. The whole thing only took two hours and five hours after my op I was up and about walking around hardly in any pain at all. He did say that had I done this the old fashioned way It wouldve been a 5-6 hour operation with 1-2 weeks in hospital followed by 6 or more weeks over recovering at home. I should be back at work with in 4-6 weeks. When I woke up I had to ask the nurse if they even done the operation on me haha.

jason that is amazing. Hope your recovery goes well. Take it easy and try to enjoy the time off if you can. Good to have you back. Keyhole surgery makes a difference. I had that when I had my Gallbladder out. Went home after 2 hours and had a big bowl of Cornflakes.
