  • Hi all, Good morn to the UK crew and evening and so on to the rest. Gonna be busy in next few days, a shed thats coming down due to redevelopment, has to be cleared out, airline memorabilia sorted, doubles put aside, so much stuff I got!! So next few days gonna get rid of junk, a big clean up in readiness for it to be taken down and removed. Couple old cupboards weill get smashed up, a work bench and some other junk discarded. Sparky to disconnect power-isolate shed, in readiness, so much to do!! So while temps down, will focus on cleanout so my activity here will be less!! Still be around, just not as much!</font>

      • 8 am here and looking for a sunny day with a high around 3 degrees. My Leafs play the Senators tonight should be a good game.

          • Hey John summer time can be very hot here. Temps are normally in the 28-33 range. Then we get the humidex added in. Last summer with the humidex we reached 48 degrees the actual temp was around 40. So yes we get heat waves during the summer months.

            • Wow, hotter than i expected Mark. I personally dont mind mid 30s, but once it starts creeping into the 38-40+ range, i start to struggle and go into my air con faze!

              • Just made changes to my hockey pool for the up coming week. Can't do any worse than I did this past week. My player this week did nothing.

                  • Hi Guys, I've been fitting a new roof to my Kitchen/Bathroom extension this week, been blessed with reasonable weather up to today, at least we managed to get all the Felt and Slates on before it changed. Temp now around minus 3deg with freezing rain that instantly freezes when it touches the ground, so only got facia on one side and the end, not totally water tight until the other side gets fitted, maybe tomorrow?

                            • So you are getting our snow. I have not recalled a February where there is no snow on the ground at all. We have a few days where it snowed but if has not settled and stayed. Most unusual for this part of Ontario. Other parts of Ontario have had snow but really nothing here.

                              • Just finished watching the Leafs vs Senators. Ottawa out shot the Leafs 49-40 and I was able to watch the game and the Leafs won 5-0. Goalie Jame Reimer second straight shut out. Beat Andy`s Penguins last game 1-0
