Steve ... woke up here today to "Winter Wonderland": cloudy, windy and lots of snow. Tonight is bitterly cold so enjoying a warm apartment, drinking a Hot Chocolate and having some Chocolate Chip cookies. [img]smileys/smiley17.gif[/img]

Tomorrow morning is supposed to be -20's C. and Mark & I are going to YYZ. You'll find me sitting at Wendy's fast food restaurant doing "indoor spotting" looking out their windows at Rwy 23. [img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

Awwwww how romantic, sounds like fun actually I warned Mark about the chocolate cake in the fridge!!!
I might have to pop outside and take in the beautiful weather here, about 24 ish at moment, awesome outside!!! About to roast a Lamb Shank in the oven, with peas and beans, should turn out nice I hope!!!

Hey guys, I know I said I was planning on coming to AUS this year but after much discussion with my partner have decided to come next year instead... I can afford to come this year but really want to save a lot more and go to my first international airshow... Avalon 2013.

With all that extra savings will be buying a lot of models, in fact ill more then likely donate all my clothes near the end of my trip to make space for all my models. I hope to visit many shops including CAM and stop by the Sydney Aviation Shop on my travels. But most off all still wish to finally meet the friends I have made in this and other forums.

If any of you guys are going to AVALON 2013 would be great to meet up and enjoy a great day followed by a couple at the local [img]smileys/smiley41.gif[/img]

The old 400 wild west hangar is quiet these days, anyone else notice it too, I think the Lone Ranger has scared quite a few off to be quite frank. Why would you want to post there, make sensible critisisms only to have posts or whole threads vanish in front of your very eyes, because the views you express differ from those of notable distinction. When will the penny drop???? When will the Lone Ranger realise its nice to be in charge, and enjoy the power, but then realise theres hardly anyone left to intimidate and patronise!!!
I am sure he will realise soon enough!!!

Mate you dont need to be drunk to have a good time... and dont worry in sure they serve non alcoholic beverages.. might need to hire an 8 seater for the day and pick all our bums up haha and my mrs can be out sober driver mate... she kindly volunteered... just dont tell her yet [img]smileys/smiley36.gif[/img]

Mate im not gonna drink at the airshow at all.... im gonna soak it all in like a sponge, take 2 cameras 3 large memory cards and just go camera mad.
