Do you have the keys? Does that mean the place is yours? Technically, what is the stand point is what im getting at? Is it the builders etc responsibility??? Another point, if it failed a bit during this recent storm, Id be wondering about future storm damage too, perhaps this one was a real bad one, way beyond comprehension, just worries me some what!!!
My old joints been hailed, blown, rained and cooked, and still going strong, touch wood!!!
Hope they get it all fixed up soon mate so you can move in, luckily you didnt have furnishings and carpets?? to get damaged also.

<DIV>Hey Steve, the house copped it bad. We basically had 4 massive storm cells, which blitzed Melbourne from approx 2:30pm onwards! All those question that you have asked, are exactly what i want to know. I dont really know where i stand atm. I have spoke to the insurance, who are coming out to assess the damage. From what i know, i have a 10 year repair warranty etc. So if i am footing the bill/access, i will be passing it on to the builder. If i need to go to court, then so be it. But the money is not coming out of my pocket.</DIV>
<DIV>I really need to show the photos of the damage. Basically two front shutters are damaged/dinted, 60+ roof tiles chipped! They were new! Water damage in the rear room, with water in downlights!skylight has been brokenalso. Plus my misses car has hail damage, but that is a dif story.</DIV>

• Sounds great Alex, Us poor people cant afford these luxuries!!!! LOL, Must say I enjoy sitting in front of the computer with big screen, in my office chair, sippin away on a beer, and reading the posts in comfort, A I pad, pod, ron, dropper would be no good to me, my eyes aint what they used to be, so would struggle to see whats going on!!!
I wonder what the long term impact will be on young peoples eyes, especially as they get older!!!
see the kids today are already squinting to read text messages and stuff, so what will happen in 20 plus years when their eyes are so strained, they need glasses thicker than a coke bottle, Makes you wonder, doesn't it!!!

• Hey guys, I know I said I was planning on coming to AUS this year but after much discussion with my partner have decided to come next year instead... I can afford to come this year but really want to save a lot more and go to my first international airshow... Avalon 2013.

With all that extra savings will be buying a lot of models, in fact ill more then likely donate all my clothes near the end of my trip to make space for all my models. I hope to visit many shops including CAM and stop by the Sydney Aviation Shop on my travels. But most off all still wish to finally meet the friends I have made in this and other forums.

If any of you guys are going to AVALON 2013 would be great to meet up and enjoy a great day followed by a couple at the local

• Wow 12 pages of discussion, feels like SAF all over again! Anyway, how has everyone been? Got a massive update to do on both here and 400SH, got a load of planes to show you all! I've lost count of them, a nice mix of Ansetts AND a few other Aussie and Multi-national special livery aircraft, and some nice freighters from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and a Sunrise 747-8 (Dragon Wings, PHX version is nice, but too pricey, and they have the ground and flight config, can't risk the seller getting confused... i hate the flexed wings on the models.) so yeah, hopefully everyone is hanging for the massive gallery of pics that I will have to upload... once all the models are here and i'm uncapped on the net of course!
