Haha cant go wrong with big bold RED.

Im in Papakura tonight at my folks. Going to funeral tomorrow. My fathers mates son passed away of heart attack @ the age of 26. Weighed well over 200kg. What an eye opener. Made my resolution for the year.... do everything I can to stay healthy and live longer.

    • Firstly sad news mate, so young to die, condolences to the friends and family concerned, too young mate!!!
200 kg is a lot of weight/strain on the heart for sure. No question about that at all. A living time bomb of sorts. well Jase, you have made a step, and a step in the right direction one would hope.

A sad but true story, a mate of mine back in the day, used to partake in the city to bay fun run here in Adelaide in which thousands participate-about a 11km run, well my mates mate was a fitness freak, gym 7 days a week, diet, all the right things possible, a super athlete of sorts, during the fun run, collapsed and died at scene, aged 35, so i suspect he pushed his body to the extremes, till the old ticker just could not cope anymore. So I guess the secret to life is to keep fit, eat healthy and be in control of your destiny.

Well said mate, I find it strange how even the fittest ones can also fall.

                        • Just a quick note it seems that SAF has officially gone link doesn't go to the forum anymore, which is a shame but I guess we just have to focus on MAC and the future now.

                          • Sad to see SAF vanish, but just glad the set up timing of this forum was perfect, and that hopefully it will grow bigger as each day passes.
Had we have waited for SAF to fire up again, I think we would still be waiting somehow, I still dont know whats happened to Tony, sincerely hope he is OK and well.
Anyway, lets keep the momentum going here folks.
Dole office appointment in a while, so will be away for a cpple hours, at least I get outa the house for a while, one consolation

                            • Yes it is too bad that SAF did not succeed. It is also nice to see how much response MAC is getting. I am sure this forum will pick up where SAF left off. Thanks for the site Andy.
